Although the winter months don’t offer up those migrating salmon, we do have feeder chinook in our local waters that are residents. These salmon can not only be fun to play out on the rods but sometimes they’re even better on the dinner table. Prawning can also be a great addition to these charters and a way for guests to experience more of what our ocean has to offer. With amazing scenery passing by Chrome Island (Lighthouse off the North end of Denman Island) and the sea lions on Norris Rock, this is an awesome adventure to have in these off season months while in the luxury of a fully enclosed/heated cabin with a 360 degree view of the water.

Experience winter fishing with this 5 hour charter departing from Deep Bay. Fish the waters off Denman and Hornby Island for feeder chinook salmon. Our 5 hour charter also has an option for prawning.

If it’s island hopping you’re interested in, we can cruise around Denman and Hornby Islands, hitting up the cove for a warm coffee, or make our way into the clear waters of the stunning and popular Tribune Bay. Venture past Sandy Island (Tree Island) and over to Comox. The choice is yours and the options are endless!
